Permanent Mouthpiece (5pcs) for LifeGuard Breathalyzer

The permanent mouthpiece conveniently folds into the LifeGuard when not in use. This unique fold-away mouthpiece is intended for self-testing or repeated testing of the same subject.

The permanent mouthpiece is designed to remain attached to the LifeGuard Breathalyzer under normal use, however, it can be removed easily for cleaning purposes or replacement.

If the permanent mouthpiece becomes contaminated with food, dirt or other foreign matter, it should be cleaned to prevent contamination of the internal breath path and fuel cell. Do not immerse the LifeGuard unit in the water.

To clean the permanent mouthpiece, gently pull the mouthpiece up and away from the unit.

• Tilt the mouthpiece towards the closed position so that the mouthpiece is approx. at 45 degree angle. The mouthpiece should feel a bit loose and will have a slight wiggle towards the front and back of the LifeGuard instrument
• Hold the mouthpiece and gently pull straight up and away from the LifeGuard instrument
  

Clean with warm water and dish detergent. Allow it to dry thoroughly and re-attach it to the LifeGuard. Replace the mouthpiece if it is damaged or lost.
